My name is Diane, and I am not going to call myself an "artist." However, I enjoy art in every way and love to create whenever I can. 

I recently stumbled upon this website and felt compelled to join :)  Thanks for being here. I am a new mom to a 20 month old son and 2 month old daughter. I stay home to take care of them and feel grateful to have this opportunity. As soon as my son could grasp things in his hands, I put a paintbrush in his little palm and we created a painting that hangs on his bedroom wall. He was 7 weeks old. I guess you could say I hope to spark a creative interest in my babies! 

I live in Sandy, Utah. I was excited to see a brand new boutique in my neighborhood that specializes in displaying local artists' creations by consignment. After speaking with the owner, I learned that he offers 60% of the selling price to the artist! That is unheard of. He's been there 3 months, and I hope our community supports his shop enough that it can stay in business.
