Hello, all. I am new to the site, although I'm not totally new to art fairs. I've been doing juried shows for about four years, I think. I do shows mostly in Central and Northeast Ohio.
I make freeform beadwoven and bead-embroidered jewelry.
Looking forward to participating in the community!

welcome Frances,
I live in Western Pa and also do beadwoven work along with my metalsmithing. What shows do you do in Ohio? We may cross paths along the way. This is a great site with lots of useful info as well as laughs along the way.

Hi Frances:
I like your bead work.
I am new to this site and very new to doing art shows. I live in Denver, CO and started drawing about 2 years ago. When I lost my "regular" job I decided to start selling my art. I draw colorful whimsical art and you can see my images on www.beccavision.com. I sell my art in office buildings, dog grooming shops (I draw alot of dogs) and I exhibited at a few dog walking events and The Peoples Fair in Denver. I will also be exhbiting at Pridefest in 2 weeks in Denver.
I did apply to one juried event in Castlerock and did not get accepted. I had no feedback as to why I was not accepted but was told there were 150 openings and 300 applicants. So maybe there just wasnt room for me.
I am hoping this site will enlighten me on the process and I am hoping to find out about more art fairs in my area that I can apply to.
I look forward to participating.
