I'm planning to do the Reston show in VA this May.
Had a quick look at the hotels, didn't hit on anything.
Any suggestions? I don't want overly expensive, doesn't have to be right
on top of the show, but not too far either. Days Inn and similar is good enough for me.
Thanks!

FYI, traffic in that area can get intense. I know, I grew up there. If you don't get the Hyatt allow a lot of travel time. You could also look in Chantilly. That's a pretty straight shot to Reston.
Thank you, everyone. I did get the Hyatt.
I have never applied to this show before and I don't know the area, so I appreciate the info.

For a show that large? Conventional wisdom is to reserve the room when you apply for the show, not after you've been accepted along with EVERYONE ELSE. Yes, there are plenty of options within a 25 mile radius, but it's a BIG CITY! Looks like a nice Red Roof Plus in Manassas along with a lesser expensive Days Inn and others. If you want to drive 20 plus miles. Check Choice Hotels properties around Dulles. Good luck with the room and the show. WOOHOO!

That's great! I'll wait until I get the info. Thanks, Larry!
I'd call now because artists make their reservations early:
