I got accepted to the St. Charles, Il show in May. I have never done it and I'm looking for a little info. I am doing a show two weekends before and the weekend after. Has anyone got any info about the St. Charles show. I don't normally do that many shows in a row but if it's a good show I may just not do one of the other shows. Any help would be appreciated.

I've done this show for 4 or 5 years, and its always been well above average for me. The economy along the Fox River does not seem to be suffering as much as some of the subs closer to the lake - I quit doing most Chicago shows when sales began dropping. St Charles is a moderately easy set up, with any luck you can drive right up to your booth. Quality of work is above average, but there does seem to be enough turnover in artists to keep the show fresh - chatting up neighbors I've learned that the range of sales and success is variable. I'm a jeweler, my sales at many repeat shows are at worst half what they were a few years ago, but the St Charles fair was one of my best last year.
