  • What about Geneva (IL) Fine Arts Fair? In Chicago area, run by the Chamber of Commerce, nice neighborhood. You might also look at Amdur's North Shore Festival of Art. You'd be a new face, it is held at a fabulous outdoor mall and Skokie is a good area for people who think "different."

Also I second Jacki's suggestion for callsforartists.com -- we add shows to that list almost daily. It is a good starting place when researching.

    • Hi All

Thanks to Jackie, Robert, Ruth, Connie and Alison, I appreciate the suggestons.  It's funny I have Callsforartists bookmarked, I can't believe I didn't think of that first!!!!  I went there and am applying to a show listed there and another one.  I am on the waitlist for the Geneva show.  Waitlists make me extremely nervous, as the say, "A bird in the hand..."  I prefer to have another application or two in case I don't get called.  Although I am hoping I get called for Geneva.  I have heard great things about EM Events.  Thanks again to all of you!!!!

  • Just looking at the midwest, I found a few but I can't vouch for any of them. I did poorly at Orchard Lake and did a report on it in my blog. It was hotter than the blazes, but it's a lousy layout and somewhat pricey to do.

Williamston's Riverfront Festival of the Arts, Williamston, MI
Village Square Art & Fine Crafts Fair, Saugatuck, MI
Artcenter Traverse City Outdoor Art Fair, Traverse City, MI
Art on the Rocks, Marquette, MI
    Akron Arts Expo, Akron, OH
Art Affair on Main, Belleville, MI
Appleton's Art Center Art at the Park, Appleton, WI (due 3/1)
Orchard Lake Fine Art Show, West Bloomfield, MI

    • Ill vouch for Appleton Art at the Park...

  • Any specific area of the country????  That's a great weekend for shows in the Pacific NW.

  • Elle, have you taken a look at www.Callsforartists.com?  Right now we have 5 good shows listed there for those dates.  Check it out.  You might find something there that you like.
