I live in the Dallas Ft Worth area and need to photo my work to submit to an art show set up in a canopy. I am looking for people who rent canopies and display panels or want to sell theirs.

Have you tried the classified forum here, or even in your local phone book and papers? There are companies that rent such equipment.

The tents that tent rental companies provide are opaque and do not let light in. Using one won't make for a very good booth shot. It's better to find an artist who's willing to let you borrow theirs or set it up for you.
Have you thought about how you will set up inside the tent for the picture?
I know an artist who bought three canopies for his booth picture because each only came with one side. Then I worked with him to make sure it was the best picture he could take and he returned all three canopies the next day.
