Naming Your Jury Images - Tip
I was working on a set of images for an artist over the weekend. I noticed that her booth image was titled "booth 2005" in her ZAPP portfolio. I created a duplicate (all her images were committed to applications) and renamed the duplicate just "booth."
It doesn't matter what your images are named on your computer when you upload them. But please do not include the date in the name after uploading to ZAPP or JAS because that sends the message that you haven't created new work since the year in the image title.
So how do you tell if the image you're seeing is a newer (improved) version or an older version of the same thing? Right click on the image and look at the file name or select and choose save as and look at the name in the save box. Images that are uploaded to ZAPP have consecutive numbers as file names. And that's system wide. So the older images have smaller numbers as names.
