I guess I've always loved creating things. From the cardboard dresser for my doll to art class in high school. I started oil painting in 2000. My millinery business began a couple years after that. And about 2 years ago I began painting silk. I couldn't choose just one because I love it all. I began my Mary Kay career when the kids were little and now life is a sweet mix of it all.
This seems to be deadline time for the spring shows. What do you all do if there are 2 shows on the same weekend but you're not sure you'll get in? Do you apply for both?
I'm also looking for a set of used BK Pro Panels if anyone knows of some. I'm afraid my booth may look a little too beginnerish.

If you can't decide between two shows and the jury/application fee is low enough so that you can afford to lose one of the fees, then you can apply for both if you want to. This is very common for artists to do. If you are accepted into both, then you'll have to make a decision....
Welcome Rose. I'm sure you will find this forum very beneficial. Take some time to check it all out. Many of your questions can be answered by looking at the archived discussion threads.
When you have two shows the same weekend, I think you will find that most of us will apply to both if we just can't decide after researching each. Most here are very willing to help you with questions. Have a terrific (and profitable) 2010!
