Hi. I am in the market for a towable used trailer or camper to do art fairs around the country. No more than 15-18 ft and no more than 2500-3000 lbs. Easy towing. I'm interested in something with less conforts and more open space inside so I can customize to sleep no more than 2 and have room to have my studio for work. Would like A/C, wet bath or shower & toilet and a basic kitchenette with small fridge & stove.
Just as reference, I've seen the Jayco Jay Flight SLX 154BH and the Clipper Cadete Series 17CBH and their layouts are good to take out the master queen bed/dinning and just used the 2 bunks for sleeping. The space left open is perfect for studio. Still room for kitchenette and shower/tub and toilet. Would be nice to find one of these or similar but used. Thanks.

Ly - I don't have one to sell but am in the market for something similar as well. Have you considered a small "toy hauler"? These are trailers where the back end comes down in a ramp and there is a lot of open floor space inside for storing dirt bikes, etc., but because of the open space they're perfect for artists. They also have very sturdy floor systems that can hold art supplies or totes with stock for art fairs. DuneSport is one company that makes toy haulers, but Forest River, Dutchmen, and many others make them as well.
The one possible issue that you might run into with a traditional travel trailer is that some of those built-ins that you say you want to remove actually hide things like the fresh water tank and the blackwater tank. The other issue with some of the traditional, lightweight trailers is that the floors are not very sturdy, meaning they break down quickly. I was touring some new, lightweight travel trailers a couple of years ago and was shocked at how bouncy the floors were. I felt like my foot was going to go right through the floor.
Best wishes...Nancy
