Thank-you all, I do horses and known in the equestrian community. I do the Summitt and LaGrange every year and want to do more in Kentucky. Thanks you-all for your suggestions. I'm trying to fill in summer, November, and around March thru what-ever. In other words, just want to tour Kentucky! Please send me links to all the shows or directory's that you have. I do alot of shows here in Florida for 30 years and KNOW THEM ALL so if you want suggestions about them please let me know, but remember, Florida is a hard sell and once you go South of West Palm Beach you have to know how to be a salesman! Avoid Dade County unless you have work that appeals to the Cuban community and know Spanish! I haven't shown in Dade County (Miami) for over 10 years and I live only 10 minutes away!
I did the Sauerkraut Festival once. Non stop flow of people but they didn't like what I did so I barely covered expenses. Traditional and country crafts fly off the walls.
I don't know if these shows will be of any interest to you --all I know are the few , that I have tried .
My work is more traditional, so , these may not work for you ???
the Sauerkraut Festival oct 10-11
in Waynesville,OH........my 2D artist friend did well here also....though she is more traditonal also.
ALOT of people go through this show though --if you aren't adverse to doing Festivals -with food in their name :)
for a few small shows , there are, cloudshows.biz , they have shows in Findlay , Maumee and I think a couple other places . Again, more traditional....and crafty .
than of course the Winterfair shows.....in Cinn. & Columbus.
I just recieved an 'Arts Festival Directory " , from the ODC ,inwhich there are tons of shows listed --
if you have a certain date open--I would be glad to look it up & let you know , what they have listed .

Thanks but I applied already and couldn't get in! I'm doing Louisville Summitt and one at LaGrange next year. I do them every year. I heard about some in Ohio, which ones do you recommend?
I did Franscico's Farm in Midway, Kentucky a couple years ago and I thought it had potential. Even though I didn't do well enough to try again since it's a long drive for me I think it could become a good show. It's very well run and not real expensive. Some of the best artist hospitality I have ever seen. It is in the middle of beautiful horse country and attracted an art appreciative crowd. It is held in the second half of June.

this is what I do , when searching for new shows, though you may have already exhausted all these ideas.....
besides the usual : Artist to Artist.....Art fair Resouce /web site......Sunshine artist (back of the mag. has alot )......Art fair Calendar ......
then, I google any city in the area I am interested--
usually a Chamber of Commerce pops up & they often have events.
or I google ....."whatever city" Art Show .....and usually different shows come up .
Also , you can look at other Artists webs & see what shows they are doing ....perferably , in your case , KY artist , and google those .
I really don't know of any shows in KY , except StJames and Berea.......but , there's gotta be hundreds.
Hopefully someone will come up with some suggestions for you .
Have you considered Ohio, I know of a few there , big & small, or are you just trying to stay local ?
here's one , that was listed in Sunshine Artist ....I know nothing about it personally ---
Lexington, 34th American Founders Bank Woodland Art Fair ,
its Aug 15-16...but , who knows??? you might still get in , if interested. www.lexingtonartleague.org
Debbie, do you know about my "mother" site, ArtFairCalendar.com? If not, visit that site and check out the listings there. Although not exhaustive, it does list the better ones.
