Western Washington-- hoping to purchase dark knock down Pro Panels, but am willing to rent (not necessarily knock down) for a show at the end of March. Any ideas?

Hi Mandy, are they able to be verified as fire resistant for the Best of the Northwest? My son actually made his own too, and he could use those if not for the fire code requirement. (He's the one in the show--I do other shows and am thinking of upgrading to Pro Panels--the immediate need is for his show in March.)

Hmm...no, good point, I don't have a fire certification for them. I don't see anything on my new knockdowns either that certifies them. I am in the same show so if they really require to see a certificate I guess I better write Armstrong and see if they can send me something! I'm not sure how strict shows really are - I've been in a couple that stated similar requirements and so far no one has ever asked to see the certification or the extinguisher. But probably best not to take chances!
Hi Paula - I have a set of DIY medium gray carpeted panels that I made and used for all my shows last year that I could sell or rent to you for this show. (Is it the Best of the NW spring show? I'm doing that one too!) They aren't quite as nice as the real thing, and not quite as tall either - they stand about 6.5 ft tall with legs extended, down to about 5ft with legs removed for transport. But they're the same welded conduit and foam board construction as the commercial panels and they served me really well for my first year of shows.
These panels were sized smaller to fit in the old truck I was using to do shows at the time, but that truck died. It ended up being cheaper for me to buy new knockdown panels that fit in my SUV than it would have been to buy a new truck or replace the entire engine block in the old truck. Unfortunately that means I don't have vehicle that fits them to bring them to you anymore. But I'm up in Everett if you want to come take a look. I have a total of 12 38" panels, enough to do a 10x20 booth, and would be willing to sell the lot of them for $550 which is about what I paid for supplies. Let me know if you want to come take a look sometime, and no matter what you end up deciding on, good luck and hope to meet you at the show!
