I'm wondering if jurors prefer the use of models or mannequins when judging wearable art? I think the work shows better on models but I've heard that some jurors feel they are a distraction.
Read more…I getting ready to do jury shots for my wearable art. I do a combination of felted work and also knitted. The items include hats, handbags, scarves, and clothing. I've read that jurors want to see "like" items or things that correspond in some way.
Read more…I am taking the plunge and stepping outside my comfort zone into juried shows. I just did my first and it seems that is a better market for my wearable art fused glass jewelry.
I am looking to apply to a few more juried shows in Iowa. Has anyone done
