I am looking for some advice about applying to this show that occurs in early November.. I live in Florida and am looking for a show that takes place on the weekend of 11/3-4. Thanks for any advice (especially from anyone that has participated in this show as an artist or attendee).

It used to be a good show. It was one of my favorites. Then they got a new director and it has gone to hell. Did you note in the prospectus that if you win an award and do not show up at the artist dinner to get your check, you forfeit the money. Try Dunedin or Halifax, Dunedin probably being the better one. Neither one is all that great but at least you will get treated better. I've also heard there is a show in Pensacola that weekend but it was too far to travel for me.
Alison, Thanks for the information and the suggestion. I think that I will apply to Dunedin as it does look like a good show. The jury fee is a little high ($40) but if I get in it might be worth it. Thanks again
