Hi,
Can anyone give me some insight into the Kipona show in Harrisburg Labor Day weekend. I have been accepted and am trying to decide between that show and a smaller show in Johnstown, Pa at the Log House Art Center. I have never done either show. Thanks all.

we live in Hummelstown not far from Harrisburg. I did the show a few years ago. It was one of my first art shows.
We got rained out that weekend, with Saturday most booths shutting down. Sunday we did ok. The show is well run and well attended. There is much more than the art show taking place that weekend.......music, boat races and numerous other activities. You do get a lot of browsers at the show. You are also competing against Long's park which is about an hour away. Many artists seem to do well as they are there year after year.
We have never applied to the show again. Not because it may or may not be a good show but rather because we have chosen to do most of our shows outside of the Central Pa. area.
