Congratulations to AFI member Kelly Kindred, recently promoted to head the Art Colony 
Association that hosts the popular Bayou City Art Festivals in Houston. When former head Kim Stoilis moved on to iFest the board tapped Kelly, the festival's operation manager, as interim director. Recently Kelly moved from interim to actual.
This is good news for artists as Kelly really knows her art fairs and continuity is really important. It is great to know we won't have to break in a new person in this important position.
