Still couldn't believe it. This is my first year stepping into the water. The Old Town is the 2nd acceptance I've received so far. The 1st one is Well St. I let it pass after reading all the negative comments about it here. And I feel so fortunate that I did!
I am so excited yet very nervous. It will be my first try, and to participate in one of the top-rated show really puts a lot of pressure on me. I certainly don't want to mess it up!
I do pastel drawings. I consider my style to be Contemporay realistic. I really hope my work fit in the overall atmosphere in the show. Here is my website: http://www.sabrinazhou.com
Any comments welcomed!
I frame most of my works in simple black wood frames, trying to achieve an uniformed appreance. There are a few pieces that I really don't like how they look in black frames. Does a booth with different type of frames ever work?
And should I bring Gircelees to the show? I read there guideline and couldn't find informations about print.

Congrats!
Good for you, Sabrina. There is a lot of competition to get into this one. You must have had an exceptional presentation.
Call them and ask about the giclees. Find out as soon as possible so you can plan well. The wonderful thing about this show is if they like you you'll get reinvited so do everything you can to follow the rules and most importantly look really great at the show, like you are first class and you know it! I think you can mix framing styles, just don't get carried away. Black frames aren't great for everything.
Thank you so much Connie, I will re-think about my framing! And thank you so much for correct my spelling. ^o^
And thank you and all the contributors for putting together this wonderful site. I've learned a lot from here!
Congrats!!! You will do well!!!
Congrats!!! Have a great show!
