Hello everyone, This is my first post and I hope I am in the appropriate spot. I have done much searching here and have found some great information from a really nice group of folks willing to share. I am considering getting back into this Art Fair business and am starting to acquire all I will need, or think I need... I work full time as a Pet Portrait Artist now taking commissions, but would really like to find a venue to sell MY pieces.
My Initial question is, as far as a booth set up photo to use for jury submissions, do or did most of you set up your whole "Art Show ready" booth with art etc... at your home first for a picture, or did you get into a smaller show and photo it on site during a real show.
Secondly as far as photographing your artwork, (I am a wildlife Painter and also sell framed Charcoals.) Do you photo your pieces framed and hanging ready to sell or just the image of the work like for use on the web etc...
Like I said I have searched, maybe not enough, and if there are threads on these subjects I haven't found I would be happy hear about them and not waste anyone's time.
Thank you, Cy

For individual art images, including the mats and/or frames will make the images of your art smaller than your competitor's images. Your booth image is to show your presentation, not the individual art images.
