Is anyone going to Geneva IL this weekend??

Well I'm going to do first fair this weekend at the Geneva Fine Art Fair. Is anyone else going?

I'll be with the emerging artists. I'm not sure how it'll work because the wall will be smaller than originally described and my paintings are quite large.

And then, my Friday sleeping plans fell through. So I'll probably be driving in from Rockford on Sat morning at 4am.

One thing that works good for the heat, is to get the blue gel cold packs. They can go anywhere there's a major blood supply and cool one's core. I like one inside my hat, armpits, etc. So I'm going to try that.

As an emerging artist I won't have a tent, just an umbrella, so I hope that works.

    thanks for your reply. I do own an EZup, but emerging artists are offered a wall for a reduced fee, so they can start exhibiting without the expense of furnishing a whole tent. Erin at EM Events has been morst gracious to me. (Unlike some other event planners who cannot be bothered with emerging artists.

    Hello Nancz.  You don't have a tent?  Maybe you should check out the classifieds here.  People are selling tents all the time and you pick one up for a lot less than the cost of a new one.  Sometimes the tents have barely been used.  I guess you will need those cold packs.  Good luck and I hope you keep cool.  Let us know how the show goes for you when you get back.
