Hi everyone, My name is Peggie Beauvais. I am Beauvais Glass Works. Let me tell you my story. I was a critical care nurse until July 2012 when I had a stroke. As part of my rehab I built my company. I have tinkered with building stain glass windows for a few years. But after my stroke I worked on building dimensional items from cold glass and soldier. I love the results. I am now participating in the local Arts vendor show 2x per month. I love showing my crafts. People so enjoy them. It gives me peace andjoy to be able to build such pretty useful things. I believe that every person should have a piece of stain glass in their home.
I would love to chat with you all and learn what you do and listen and learn from your experiences. Sincerely Peggie

Hello Peggy and welcome to our group. We are glad that you have joined us.
Yes, I also believe everybody should own a good piece of stained glass. I have several pieces my sister made and I love them. I always look at the glass at art shows, too. What a great way to heal. It was good that you had something that you had your glass work to gwet you through that time in your life.
Hi Peggie and welcome to AFI. Great to hear you are taking your art to another level and are getting out and about with your work :)
Hi Peggy, There are many interesting stories on this sight. Yours ranks right up there. I've always said that art heals and in your case it seems to have worked. I am a glass artist too. Are you having some success selling your glass pieces at the local shows?
HI Pat
I sold a few pieces at my first show. The next 4 shows have a wider public forum . So I am hoping they will like and buy.
Good luck to you Peggie and I hope you have many sales at the next 4 shows. Keep us posted and maybe you could write a review on some of these shows.
