Hello everyone.  I'm happy to be a new member of AFI.  I didn't even know this existed until I followed a link when checking info for Gig Harbor's Tide Fest fair.  My current art is egg carving.  I use a high speed dental drill to carve/cut designs in various eggs, from goose, rhea, and ostrich eggs.  Occasionally, I'll use my other favorite medium, oil painting, to paint scenes on ostrich eggs.  I don't participate in that many fairs because I have a full time job.  I'm a software analyst for GE Healthcare.  However, I attend just about every local fair in my immediate area.  I love viewing all the various crafts and the creativity of other individuals.  I'll be uploading some of my photos of my eggs within the next few days.
