I just joined Art Fair Insiders and am still finding my way around. So apologies if I have posted the same info in multiple places. I am excited to see all the information out here and the generous sharing of the Art Fair Insiders community. I look forward to learning from all, and sharing what I know as I get more involved in Art Fairs. I am a newbie, with my first juried show coming up in September, at the Tall Grass Arts Association's Park Forest Art Fair. My biggest obstacle is not having a tent, so any advice in that area would be particularly helpful. My art is digital photography, and you can see my work on my website www.joannebarsanti.com.

Hello Joanne and welcome. This website will have a lot of information to help you get started in the business. At the top of the page is a search bar. Just type in tents, or whatever info you want information on. Then, you can click on the one you want to read.
I looked at your website and you have some beautiful work there. Will you be framing pieces or just matting them?
Do you have any other shows set up yet?

Thanks for your info. I will be framing some pieces, but have not decided how many yet. I have an exhibit on display right now, consisting of 24 framed images. Currently I am working with 11x14 prints in 16x20 mats/frames, but I do have some in 8x10 print size in 11x14 mats or framed size. I will also have some matted pieces unframed. May also do some greeting cards. I have some upcoming (group) exhibits, but no other shows yet.
