I usually do 6-8 fairs a year. What type of insurance should I carry with only doing these few shows? I currently have a basic liability plan. Should I go for more than that? It cost me just under 500 a year and covers liability up to 1,000,000. Thoughts?

Basic Liability probably won't cover your products if someone gets hurt from them.
Might want to check out www.actinspro.com Make sure you choose the coverage you need. With ACT you get up to 2 mill in aggregate coverage and also product and completed operations coverage. There is also coverage for property. Take a look. It is fast and easy and may save you some money. You can also add additional insured for free.

I just signed with them, they are really great answering all your questions, even that the contract is pretty clear.
