I've looked a bit on this topic and haven't found an answer. I can see how either could work, though I lean towards the latter but I was wondering what the thought/expectation is for the photos as examples of our work that will be furnished to juries, do I submit (I'm a photographer who sells framed, matted, printed pieces) the actual image or an image of the piece as it will be sold (e.g., framed and matted). It makes sense to me that juries want to see an example of the finished product, but perhaps they see that with the booth shot and therefore expect just the photo in finished form, not the finished product. Thanks.

Just the image for jurying. The booth picture is to show the presentation. If you submit images of matted and or framed, the image you're being juried on is much smaller than your competitor's images.

Now I will add that if you made the frames your self then possible a picture of the frame with the picture would be alright, but send only pictures of what you want to be judged on.
