I have a huge collection of 'Artists' magazines.

I also have a large collection of old 'Sunshine Artist' Magazines, 'Showwest magazines' and other art/watercolor magazines.

 

Anyone have any thoughts on what to do with them?

They are in rather good condition and are full of great information, which Im sure someone can get some use out of.

    How about dropping some of at the local high schools' art departments?

    Great idea, Jacki! Norm always carried back issues of Sunshine Artist and would give them to the newbies who sought advice at the shows.

    What a great offer, Michelle, for someone.  Hopefully, someone will take you up on this.  If not, take a box of them to your next show and put free on the box or see if any fellow artists might want them.  Surely, there will be a new artist there who might love to take a few.

      I would hope SOMEONE could use them. I taught myself art (back in 1996) by using these wonderful magazines , among other books, and now I have a rather succeessful art business ---with NO formal training:)hehe

       

      If anyone would like any please let me know.

       

      I was also thinking of a place online that might even BUY them!!? Ya never know. Weirder things are selling online! :)
