I'm an artist (watercolors) and I'm setting up for my 1st full-scale art show season. I'm planning to sell mostly limited-edition giclees and I'm wondering what is a good amount to start out with?
Initially, I'll be using about 20 different images in my product lineup, and I've found that Redimat's pre-cut matboards and backings real discounts start at a dozen. So should I have a dozen giclees made of each image? I've found a printer who will give me the 250-print price based on the aggregate total of prints - not just for 250 of one image. Is this standard?
Thanks, Sam
