Hi! My name is Lauren. I live in Chicago and do photography-based mixed media. Just this weekend I used masking tape, cling wrap and acrylics in/on a project.
I'm a total newbie to this board and to art fairs. I'm really excited about this community.
I've been stretching what I do with my photography for many years and am interested in getting into the art fair scene. Most of my work is much smaller than what I see at art fairs so I'm going to work on making bigger pieces. My goal is to make (all unmatted in size, some will be matted/framed, others are not meant to be)
4 60x18
2 36x48
4 30x20
4 20x24
And then have prints of 8x10 and 5x7 (size when unmatted, but I would mat them).
Does that sound like a good inventory? Too little? Okay mix? I feel like the art fair booths who don't try to load the walls with everything look nicer. I'm just worried that it won't be enough.

First of all, the outer matted size (or frame size) is more important because people who purchase them need to know what size frame to buy.
You're throwing out numbers but you don't say how many different sizes you plan on making each image. I recommend two, one small and one large. Or are they one of a kind?
Also if you've not yet done any art shows, you have no idea of the popularity or lack of for each image. It takes time and experience to build a set of images that sell well.
