Hi everyone,

I'm Alan Norris, newest member of Art Fair Insiders. I design Natural Stone and Hardwood Oil Candles, and I love it!

In Lawrenceville, GA (NE of Atlanta), my day job as manager of a software development team is somewhat stressful, but I can always count on my time in the shop to "take me away" where I focus on things more beautiful, and put my creative side to work.

I stumbled across Art Fair Insiders while researching tents. Since then I have gained lots of wisdom from everyone here. I'm looking forward to my first show in Blue Ridge, Ga in October, and also searching for others in the area. We'll see how it goes; I'll be fine as long as they have Art Fair food :-)

    You know they'll have art fair food -- is Blue Ridge north of Atlanta? I've driven through there and it is beautiful. You know artists though if we're not doing a show nearby it strictly I-75 all the way through Georgia. Welcome to our world, Alan. There is lots to learn but some great folks around also. There are three excellent art fairs in Atlanta in September. They might be good for you to visit to pick up tips on display and tents. Welcome!

    Hi Alan and welcome aboard :)   Glad you've found what a wonderful resource AFI is - I lurked for a while too before taking the plunge and doing an intro!  See you around the boards :)

    Hello Alan and welcome.  Glad you joined us here.  This site will really be a help to you as you get ready for your fall show. 

    You can find other shows to fill up your schedule by looking at our "sister" website, www.artfaircalendar.com.  You may find some shows that would be near your October show to add to your schedule. 

    Good luck to you.  Keep us posted on your successes.
