Hello from Minnesota, where the temp today is -15 to -20! That's too cold even for us.
I just joined Art Fair Insiders and I look forward to learning from everyone.
I have never participated in an art fair, but I have been to a couple of classy ones here in MN: Edina Art Festival and Uptown Art Festival.
I look forward to meeting a few of you at these events and maybe one day I will have a tent of my own right next to yours!

Hi Dave! I am a Minnesotan too, but I get out at this time of year and head for the warm sun of Florida. I spent over 50 years in those cold snowy winters and it was a great time to spend on my art trying new techniques and building inventory. Prefer the 80 and sunny weather now. My neighbors keep me posted and it sounds like it has been brutal. Hang in there as spring is only 6 months away, or maybe 7 or 8?

It is mighty cold here, but you have us beat, Dave. I had just joined a gym and was determined to get up the other morning and drive to an 8 am class, but when I looked at the temp went back to bed.
This is a great site to get so much information so that when you do get that tent and are setting up in Edina or Mpls you will not be a novice, but the best equipped and informed person of any of the newcomers. We're glad to have you join us.
Hello Dave!! I woke up to 10 degrees and that is not wind chill either!! I moved to the Richfield area back in '96 and that winter was one of the snowiest in years. When I got there, the first thing I noticed was the electric plugs in parking areas. I stayed for 18 months then moved back home to Pittsburgh.
