Hi -
Just wanted to say "hello" to your readers...I love looking at all of the comments that your talented artisans write each day. I produce whimsical and fun art shows in the Atlanta area with Cindy Flynn, and your site has been a great help to so many newbies and pros in the art festival world.
I look forward to being a part of your entertaining discussions!

Glad to have you with us here, Frances. There is a lot to learn here from the artists about running shows. I'd say the folks here aren't shy ;) and I know we are visited by lots of show organizers every day, although most of them don't weigh in. Hope you will be part of the group who shares information and asks questions.
When is your next show?
Our next show is THIS WEEKEND!!! It's called Norcross Art Fest. We have 165 whimsical and fun artists that line the historic streets of downtown Norcross, Georgia. We expect crowds of 40,000 to 50,000 this year, as the weather forecast seems to be favorable (we hope).
I used to do shows myself for 12 years. I was a painter, but I focused on children's things (bulletin boards, lap desks, growth sticks, mirrors, wallhangings, etc.) I always thought about ways to improve shows...and now I'm getting the chance. So many festivals were not artist friendly...and that's one of our main goals.
Hello Frances and welcome. We look forward to having you here with us. What are some of the shows you put on in Atlanta?
We put on Dunwoody Art Festival, Norcross Art Fest, Acworth Art Fest and the new Johns Creek Arts Festival. All of them are very whimsical and fun.
What kind of art do you do...and where are you from??
Hello back Frances :) See you around the site!
