Hi, my name is Lizzie and I'm a 26 year old digital artist from Southern Illinois. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember but didn't start creating digital art, my passion, until 1999 and have been doing digital art exclusively since then.
I sell a fair number of prints of my artworks online but I'd love to be a vendor at an art fair to get some more exposure and get away from my computer for a while. ;) I've attended several arts and crafts fairs as a visitor but have never been a vendor before so I have no idea how to start, what to do, or where to go. I'm hoping I can get some help here on what's the best way to go about it.
Thank you and I'm so glad to be a part of this community! :D

Hello Lizzie and welcome. Well, it sounds like you are ready to jump in feet first. Good luck, you can do it! If I were you I think I would start with an indoor show first. If you do an outside show first you will need a tent plus every thing else. You can do an indoor one and see how you like it without having a tent. You wouldn't have to worry about the weather indoors either. That way you will have a chance to get introduced to art shows without having to deal with the weather and tents, too. Then, if you don't like selling at Art Shows, you didn't invest in the whole tent set up and learning how to keep it secure. Good luck. Let us know when you get in your first show.
