Just came here a few weeks ago. Really some nice folks and very helpful. I am looking to learn about shows and everything else. I do wood furniture. Located in Wisconsin. I have only done a few shows. I have a lot of reading to do and much to learn. Thanks to all of you for your help. bob

For inspiration here are some other woodworkers sites that might be of interest (google the names), Lance and Vicki Munn, Steve Klein, Steve Uren, Jay McDougall -- I'm sure there are loads more. Fine wood furniture is pretty popular at the shows.
The last show I did was the Milwaukee Domes show. I did very well in sales, best I have ever done. I have done some local shows around me, Appleton, Neenah, Sturgeon Bay. I just started doing shows last year. Most of my stuff is sold over the internet off my web site. I have pieces in the lower 48 states, but never much in the Midwest. I thought doing some shows would help. It seems the big cities like Milwaukee are my best bet. I am also looking to do some other states , like Minnesota or Illinois. I really like being inside, as with my furniture, being outside is not always good. Thanks, bob
