I've been lurking and cruising around the site for a while now and finally thought it best to make it official so that I could begin to ask questions as I plan for my first art fair. I am based in Kentucky and am planning to start with one of the last local fairs of the season in the hopes that I will have time after this one to fix what I do wrong before the busy part of the season starts again in the spring. For now, I am planning on starting with some smaller shows to get some experience before I attempt any of the larger shows. I am still designing my booth and trying to put everything together so please forgive the slew of questions I will probably have on the discussions here.

Annette, Hi!! I create a lot of things. I'm best at making a mess though. ;) Actually, I am a photographer. I've had a camera in my hand for 30 years and finally got brave enough to give this a whirl.
Wonderful! Lots of experience :) Do you have a favourite subject or is it whatever takes your fancy?
I try to continue to learn how to shoot new styles or subjects, but a lot of what I do is something I've been working on called "unseen Kentucky." We all drive by things every day and don't really see what is around us. I am trying my best to really SEE what is around me and capture the beauty we have right here at home. That said, I like waterfalls, horses, and old barns (complete with some of the old "stuff" inside).
