Good afternoon!
I's Susan Radke, also know by my artist name: Seranya. That's a name chosen because all versions I could think of of my name (Susan) were already taken on the web. Even my last name was unavailable. I like the name anyway - its unique just like I try to make my work. I am a certifiable plant and fiber geek. (I'm also a landscape designer with a few awards under my hat - hence the plant geek part.)
I have so much to learn and so many experiences I want to have with my artwork, so I'm looking forward to spending time on this site learning from "all you all".
I'm working on a website. seranya.com - but it needs lots of help, and I show at a gallery in Wisconsin Purloin Studio & Gifts (purloinstudio.com). I've done custom work and have had some of my work travel to China, Cayman Islands and Spain. So do you think its ok to say I'm "international"? :)
My husband and I spend summers in Wisconsin and we're wintering in Mesa, AZ. Just getting to know the fairs and venues in Arizona so any recommendations from "insiders" would be most appreciated.
Thanks for getting to know me a bit. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
Have a fabulous new year and may your homes, health and families be blessed.
Seranya

Hello Seranya and welcome. We are glad to have you here with us. We have some shows listed in our southwest section of the Art Fair Calendar. Take a look at it when you can. Also look at www.callsforartists.com. You may find a few shows there that you would like to do.
What kinds of fiber do you normally work with? The fiber arts sections of art shows sure seem to be a very busy place. Do you make clothing or 2 D work?
