I know this forum primarily deals with the Craft Fair circuit but has anyone used the site Handmade Craft Show (http://handmadecraftshow.com/) to promote their online business or Etsy Shop?
I'm considering signing up and I'd love to hear some feedback (both positive and negative) from people who have signed up and used the site.
Is it worth the investment?
Is it user friendly?
Have you had an increase in sales because of it?
Thanks!
Joshua

I have an etsy store and I think the site is very user friendly for the seller, however I havn't really had much luck selling on there. It seems there is just so much stuff to browse through its harder to be found. One way is if people put your item in their "treasury"
I have heard about etsy (I'm trying to remember where so I can post a link to the article) that items that are priced under $25 do MUCH better than items priced higher.
I have honestly had much much better luck simply creating an artist page on facebook and advertising using facebook ads. They are cheap and you can be so specific who you are targeting.
I have both an Etsy and Artfire store. Currently, I do not have any items listed in Etsy and a few on Artfire. To get the sales on Etsy you have spend a lot of money buying spots to display your items on the front page. Artfire is a flat monthly fee only no matter the number of listings and sales. Any of the selling sites are only as good as the time you put into them.
I would suggest that you check them all out and decide which would be most to your advantage financially.
