I'm out of Atlanta. Looking for a company to print my paintings in giclee. Anyone have a creditable printer they can recommend? I already have my images digitized, but would like info to company that does that also for further paintings. Thank you in advance.

This is probably not the best forum for this subject. Too many purists that think originals are the only way to go. Hell with them - gotta do what you gotta do, right?
I would recommend Larry's forum - you could probably get lots of advice on how what printer to use, lowest cost, best packaging, technical advice, a supportive brotherhood, and so forth there. I think there may be a link at http://bermangraphics.com
Happy printing!

I have negs. They did an excellent jod. I always thought it would be sooo expensive to print my own. What type of printer would you recommend for this? Cost? That would be worth it to print my own!!!if you can kind of reference me to some vendors that would be great!!!

Yep. In any size you want!
Just don't put more than one out at a time - wait until you sell one to some poor schlep and then get another copy out to sell to someone else after he or she carts the first one away!

Fine Print in Colorado? They should do a good job at printing. Did they provide you with proofs? You can always purchase an Epson printer and make your own prints. Larry Berman Digital Jury Services http://BermanGraphics.com

Who scanned or photographed your paintings? What size are the originals? What pixel dimensions are the digital files? When you find a company to work with you'll probably have to have them digitize your paintings and print them so they can guaranty the color.
Something to keep in mind. if you want to use the digital files for jurying they will have had to have been created in RGB, not converted from CMYK to RGB. Otherwise the color will never be correct and you'll end up scanning or photographing a print.
My oridgnals are 30x40". I had Fine print imaging do the digitizing for me. I had 8 paintings done with them. I can go with them for the 8, but wanted to know who other artist was going with so I can weight my options for other paintings. They are so far away and shipping was really exspensive.
