Hi again all. Hope this newbie is not wearing out his welcome, but just got invited to this fair and would appreciate your sharing any information you can give to me. I'll be showing photography.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

Thank you for the insight. I guess that I have to lose my Art Fair virginity somewhere and can't think of anywhere better than somewhere close to Austin. I'm going to accept and show up... then we will let the public respond . . . hopefully with purchases. I'll look forward to our crossing paths and being able to say thanks in person.
Best regards, David

There is information regarding this show at www.bluelotusartshowtour.com with a listing of all the artists invited last year. This will be the second year for the show to be on the Georgetown courthouse square which is a great location. Two years ago it was in a nearby park. I think this will be the third year for the show in Georgetown. Blue Lotus is run by Lynette Wallace who promoted Bayou City in Houston several years ago.
On the courthouse square, there are steel pins permanently hammered into the asphalt marking booth locations so they will be easy to find. We had lots of storagespace available behind our booth, but no wiggle-room from right to left. There are lots of shops, restaurants, benches, restrooms, & parking for patrons. You'll set up on the street, so bring your canopy weights and a pair of VERY comfortable shoes! Load-in was a little chaotic last year but we had no other logistical problems. Start early -- traffic from nearby Austin is horrid for the PM setup time.
Importantly, last year's show did a great job of selecting fine art & fine craft (not b/s) and the visitors were very complementary and supportive -- and we had GREAT weather. Although we made back our booth fee, and some other artists sold gangbusters, there were others who sold very little -- kind of "feast or famine" last year it seemed. (I'm still waiting for one of those feeding frenzies to take place in MY booth)! I didn't speak with any of the photographers, however.
It will be interesting to see what this year holds, as I was fortunate enough to be invited back for the show this fall, too. Hope to meet you there!
