  • The wrinkled table cloth is the first thing that I see.  It is definitely a distraction.

    • Thanks Valerie...

  •  I love it!   (I've always thought it bizarre that the jury wants things smooth and neat whereas in reality that it rarely how it is. )  Larry's pointers will help you though.  Do you have some photo manipulation software that could get those wrinkles out?

    • Thanks Annette...I have a friend who could probably smooth it out but probably easier for me to make a matching front pedestal and remove the burlap wrapped tube....then simply straighten out the other burlap.  I was pushing it to make the Mock Jury deadline.  After they chew on me a bit I will have a little time to fix things up!

      • You could engage Larry to do it for you?  Would save time & immediate $$?

      • Do you think it would be better to remove all the burlap and go all wood pedestals?  Uggghh  $$$$$$

  • Not bad but you need to remove all the wrinkles.

Bring down the piece on the right wall so the top doesn't go over the top of the panels.

And something I've been thinking about but haven't posted, especially since you said that you're setting it up to photograph for the St Louis mock jury. I was one of the jurors last year. I'd question if the walls were set up just for the picture but wonder what your booth would look like at an actual show, since the walls might not be transportable. So as a juror, that's what I would bring up at the jury.

And you have things outside the canopy in the front on both sides. That's not allowed. you have to fit the 10x10.

    • Larry,

Do you think I would be better off using pedestals only for the sculptures(rather than the draped shelves)?

That would be another load to haul...:(

Is this something that can be digitally fixed?

      I like your honesty!

    • Larry,

I agree the piece on the right needs to come down.  I need to make some longer hooks!

The walls are easily transportable...hollow core, super light.

I can bump the front things back a couple inches to make it to 10x10.

I want to stay local for my first try...I am only 35 minutes from where the St. Louis Fair is so I could get my walls there no problem.

I also need to come up with a better way to hang those boxes so the statues don't want to fall away in the wind.

Would the wrinkles be a deal killer?

      Thanks, Steve
