Hi you wonderful group of professionals. I know I don't stick my nose in here much, but one of my local art centers is having a calling for exhibitors. I haven't attempted this before, and was wondering if you all had advice on how to proceed. It's a 400 word proposal as to why I art, I guess... haven't come across something like this before.

Gaynell, I don't think we've had this specific request before, but I put "artist statement" in the search box up in the right hand corner and a wealth of information popped up ... should be helpful.
I haven't even attempted to write anything up yet... my mind is still working around the idea. I have been sick for two weeks, and not quite sure what to put in it.
Can you post what you've written here or e-mail it to me personally so I can take a look at it? And give me a call.
