I have always been leery of shows as my thing tends to be 70-80% performance, with a unique graphic end product..... and it really is hard to justify gambling on the weather. When I do shows the folks on either side of me tend to do most excellent and usually acknowledge/thank me for gathering and keeping a crowd - when the weather is right.
Just curious, as I have never seen anyone else doing this and only occasionally hear of someone..... EVER SEEN BURNING WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS PRESENTED AS A PERFORMANCE FOLK ART? I genuinely am a 'KODAK MOMENT', but wonder if there are others trying to get this medium 'out there'!

Interestingly, my son learned how to do this at camp many years ago and I have a wooden medallion that says "Happy Mother's Day"! I could never figured out how he did it, but have never seen it an art fair.
