Eenie, meenie, miney CHOOSE!

I'm torn between three shows all on the same weekend in the spring.

One is a one day show,The Rossini Festival. It is only a half an hour away. I hear they get huge crowds (over 200,000). I've been told that it is more like a two day show because the hours are very long but that sales are very good for artists.

The second show is around 3 hours away but I can stay at mother-n-laws so hardly any more expenses.:)  Ive done pretty well at this show in the past, although it was over 7 yrs ago!)

The third is a bit further away but I did it many years ago and recall it was decent even though the weather sucked.

Im very torn about this decision. I'm wondering if I should just send applications to all of them and see which one/s I get in to, and then make my decision.

OR..just throw a dart at a dart board!? :)

What would you do?

  • It is too late to apply to Cherokee Triangle - their deadline was Jan. 15. That gives you one less to think about.

    • You beat me to it :-) I sent my application in back around the 9th or 10th. I've done that one for the last 15 years or more.

  • Unless they are the type of show that keeps your booth fee if they accept you, stack the deck.  I have been rejected from shows I thought were sure things so I always stack the deck if I can.

  • Hi Michelle!

I would apply to all three.  I have applied to Franklin, TN and that is/would be my first choice.  I prefer to just send in the apps and see what happens.  I have a weekend in June where I have 7 apps in for that weekend.  You just never know who is going to accept you, so I would rather stack the deck as much as I can and hopefully end up with options.  Hope this helps, have a great day!!!!!
