Has anyone done the Downtown Denver Art Fair? This year it's May 23rd. I've been invited but it's a 2000 mile round trip. I'd be doing only this show so it'd have to be a good one. I do wood wall hangings which go from $700 to $5000. Anyone have an opinion?

Marc,
this year is my first applying to, and doing the show. We aren't traveling 2000 miles, though, so it was an easy decision to make.
Here's a review from 2012 that might help.

One point that differs from the 2012 review: the show is back at the Denver Center for Performing Arts Complex and will be visible from Speer Blvd, in the heart of downtown.
There is a multi-level parking structure attached to the DCPA, so patrons will be able to park and get to the show fairly easily (and it's also walking distance -about 3-4 blocks from the free shuttle and busy pedestrian mall.)
While downtown is busier during the week with office workers, there is a steady and growing residential component downtown and nearby that should come out for the arts festival. If the weather is good, folks love to get out and walk on Colorado weekends.
The Sunshine Art Fair Source book ranked DDAF 33 out of 600 shows, so there's that as well.
