I represent a gourmet handmade bread dipping oil, pastas and bread mixes and woul like any recommendation on well attended shows in Ohio. We're looking to try some new markets in 2010. Please advise, thanks!
As the owner of Little Dipper Company, and the ONE person that MAKES these gourmet oils, one by one BY HAND, I think you need to chill out, Warren. Don't know why you have to cop an attitude, when she is simply trying to get some ideas of different shows in the area. Believe it or not, some of these shows have art AND gourmet. She is not asking to invade your art precious art shows. Geez!

Well Haven so why don't YOU bring your gourmet meals to the art fairs, since you say they are art and remember no reproductions and nothing mass produced. See you in my mind are just a vendor that is trying to take advantage of having art fairs for artist. We might as well let the other vendors that supply products for the artist sell their products there too, you know the paint brush sellers, the jewelry suppliers, heck even my welding rod supplier. Because of vendors like you we the artist are having to pay jury services so we can sell our art to screen out the vendors. If you were at a jury art fair that I was in I would make a formal complaint to the promoter. Artist do not want vendors at the art fairs. My opinion and those of many other artist.
