  • Hi Vicky,
This might be one of the more frequently reviewed shows on this site, probably because the Florida show pickins' get a little sparse that time of year.  Here's a link that will search all those reviews

In addition, the snowbirds tend to scatter after Easter, which is early this year (March 30).  So the buyers may be down a bit.

This is one of Alan's "split shows", by which I mean that both artists and crafters (NOT necessarily "fine crafters") are encouraged to apply.  The craft section is separate from the fine art section (though they are contiguous) and the crafters pay a bit less to do the show.  Which you do will depend pretty much on your price points.

The trend in recent years has been toward stronger sales in the craft area, and there's less money being spent there overall that in years past.

    •   I have a hard time maneuvering on this site.  I couldn't find anything on this show so I asked for help.  Thank you Geoff for responding.  Well I read the reviews - not many for 2011.  I sell jewelry priced from $50 to $150 and was accepted in the art section but I'm still not sure if I want to drive 2 hours for what sounds like an iffy show.  As I'm writing this I think I have decided not to do it :>)  I did the HA show in Indialantic  which is a beach town and did not do well.

Have a great Christmas and New Years!
