Disappearing blog entry

Last night (1/27) I posted a blog entry and almost from the start, my page was behaving strangely. When I clicked the "Continue" button the full posting displayed for a second or two, then the body text vanished. All that was left was the heading and the Continue button.

 

Today, all trace of it has vanished.

    I just had another idea. If you go to "Blogs" do you have the option of clicking on "Edit blog posts"? If so, click on that. The blog may have been saved in "draft" form...that has happened to me in the past.

      Thanks...I republished it several times so I don't think that was the problem.

    Bugs do crop up here, Geoff. Every now and then when I post a comment or blog I get the message "Comments are being moderated"... obviously I shouldn't have to be 'moderated' as the originator of the site. So, I surely don't know what happened here. It hasn't shown up yet?

     

    Guess not, I just searched for it.

     

    In addition, I have deleted your comment in that thread.

      As noted above, Larry deleted the blog when he saw it lacking any content.   Still definitely a bug, but I'll consider it a transient glitch unless when I get around to reposting the blog entry, it reoccurs.  Thanks, Connie!!

    Hi Geoff, I only saw an empty blog last night and I noticed you also posted the same thing to one of the forums threads.

    I deleted the empty blog this morning.

      Hi Larry: It wasn't the same thing. 

      I originally posted a short version to the "Two Mediums" thread, as you've noted.  Then I decided that might result in hijacking the thread, which is bad online manners.  So I wrote an expanded, more essay-like version and posted it properly as a blog entry. 

      I then went back to try to delete my comment, but (as I've experienced before) it seems that one can't delete a comment they've made.  They can only delete a BLOG entry. 

       

      If you could delete the comment, I'd appreciate it.  I will then re-post my blog entry.

      ps: If there is some way for a user to delete their comment, I'd sure like to know.
