Forum

I hired a guy to build a website for me and he used wordpress. Very long process and not a great experience with him.  Long story short... it's two months later and I forgot one of the steps and he has disappeared! No answers to calls or texts!   I've spent hours trying to figure it out on my own but no luck.  
Can't talk to anyone live at wordpress and I'm not savvy enough to understand the forum answers. Is there anyone who would be willing to help!  I don't think it's very hard but I'm missing a step somewhere.  Thanks!
