has anyone done any of the craft shows in Cape May NJ? There are a few that take place in the convention center on the promenade, but I was hoping for some feedback before applying. Any info would be helpful, thanks!

The Cape May Art League has a show the second weekend in September (that is, the FIRST weekend after Labor Day). It is not a blockbuster show but can be decent. You have to join the Art League ($35, I think) and then pay for a booth (either $75 or $110). So the cost is low. It's a good time to be down at the shore because the summer vacationers have gone, so the homeowners come down to enjoy the warm water and the smaller crowds.
As for the craft shows, there is a "Summer Send Off" on Aug 31-Sept 1 (Labor Day Weekend). I have no idea how that one is, but I'm going to be down there anyway that weekend so may give it a try.
I am doing the Promenade Craft show there in the middle of August, so we`ll see how that goes. There were a few others held at the convention center, that were very inexpensive -$75. for a day, but there are only 40 spaces, and I just didn`t know about the turnout. I think i will go to one and see what it`s like. If you happen to be down there the 10th & 11th of Aug., I`ll be in space # 186 on the boardwalk. Please stop and say hi. Thanks for the input!
