Is there any software out there that helps you keep track of customer information such as where they live and assists you in contacting them?
Basically, I have collected past clients' information, but it seems like it has quickly become quite the mess so-to-say. I know many people on here send a notecard or email when they are returning to a show. But some of you folks do 20,30,40+ shows a year and undoubtedly have 100's or 1000's of clients!
What are some of the options artists are choosing?
Thank you for helping!

Thank you for all the suggestions. I will look into them more thoroughly!
Just to clarify, do any of you send physical messages? That's actually what I have been doing rather than emails.
I do work with Mailchimp but Mailchimp alone will not get you where you need to be. I built my own relational database using FileMakerPro to track contact info and patron purchases.
I messed around with a few commercial products but it was difficult to find a product that could work within my business plan and adapt to the unique idiosyncrasies of my medium. Some folks have found Quickbooks or Excel to be helpful. Cheers!
I also use Mailchimp for newsletters and so forth – this is a free service (unless you have a ton of contacts) which is nice.
I’ve been thinking about trying Insightly which is more of a customer relations software. They have a free plan with a nice selection of features – but they also have a paid plan (about $7.00 a month) which will get you a few additional features (like linking to Mailchimp). If interested the website is https://www.insightly.com/
There are many ways, Bobby, and they make it easy. It is so important to have this info and to market to your list. My whole business is built on email marketing. Everyone opens their email.
I use Constant Contact for my general list (first 30 days free, I think).
As Michelle said many website hosts have built in ways to enter and the data for future use.
For this site I use Feedblitz.com. My son, who is really on top of these services, uses aWeber.com.
Here is a current review of the best providers of these services. Some of them are free, others start charging when your list gets larger. Well worth a look: http://email-marketing-service-review.toptenreviews.com
