WITAN's French Market is held at St. George's Fellowship Centre on Ridgewood Road. In addition to fine artists and craftsmen, the event includes lunch, cafe, bakery and raffle. 2018 will be our 41st year and the event has a long established following of attendees. French Market is an Akron-area tradition.
Juried arts and crafts show that strives for a range of product offerings from high quality artisans. Loyal following after 40 years located conveniently off Rt. 77 expressway in West Akron. We draw shoppers from Cleveland to Canton.
Marketing Plan: French Market is supported with an active Facebook post program daily starting January 1. Paid advertising placements in key newspapers within the greater Akron area, radio interview and ticket giveaway.
Mission: WITAN ( Women in Touch with Akron's Needs) is a non-profit women's community service organization. All funds raised at French Market are returned to greater Akron area non-profit organizations through grants awarded each May. Grants are typically awarded to organizations that support children, women, nutrition and arts.
