  • Is it for a booth picture for jurying or as an example of how you will set up at a show? I have a bias in critiquing booth pictures in that I always look at it as a jury image unless it's specified to not be.

Unframed bin. If you sell any unframed work the bin needs to be in a booth picture for jurying.

The floor is confusing and the lighter areas draw your eye from the artwork. If you use a carpet, it probably should be a darker solid color so dirt won't show.

Personally speaking, I'd prefer to see uniform framing and all pieces along the top row be at the same top height.

Chair and selling station do not have to be in the booth for the jury image, but unframed bin does.

    • Thank you Larry!

  • This is a great start!  Presumably you'll have some sort of pay station or table, and you'll need to show that in your display photo.  Also, if you're going to sell reproductions, that stack will need to be shown in a sling or on a table, however you intend to display them.

    • Thanks so much for the advice Karen,

We will get working on adding a pay station and Chad is going to build some nice display racks.
