I have read several different views on the booth shot image in comparison to the other images summited for jury view. Im a painter and my subjects are primerily children in my paintings. the 4 or 5 paintings I submit are consistent with this style, but my booth shoot has pics of some of my abstract works in it along with the images I sent in. Should I not have those pictures displayed in my booth shot being that they represent a different style? And I also heard that its not a good idea to have browse bins in booth shot. Is that true? I attached a sample of my booth shot. please tell me how can I better improve it.
If you look carefully at the booth, there is at least one painting with a readable signature. That should be taken out in Photoshop, especially if you apply to Uptown or St Louis. Additionally the placement of the paintings should be such that there's no overlap like on the right side of the right white background painting so that new work can be dropped in next year in Photoshop so you don't have to keep reshooting your booth. Actually if you were setting this up in your driveway or backyard, I'd recommend just doing three walls of three panels each with one painting per panel. Simplify your booth for the picture. There's no reason to have the two side panels coming in like you set up for a show. And if you want to add a few abstracts, have them hanging on the right side wall so you can just barely see them from an angle. That way they will be in the booth picture in case you want to hang them at a show but not in a way that it takes away from having a uniform style in your booth picture.

After more consideration and lack of time to edit my post, my eye starts at the painting with the white background on the right, jumps to the painting with the white background on the left and then moves to the flowers on the desk which shouldn't be there.
There's nothing wrong with having the bin there but it looks like there are too many small items visible. And you have some duplication so they are reproductions. What would you use for a booth picture for shows that don't allow reproductions?
That makes perfect sense. I think I will just take the browse bin out.

Please resize your booth picture so it can be viewed without scrolling. Currently it's too large. 2600 pixels should be resized to under 1000 pixels long dimension. Or make it under 600 pixels long dimension and embed it in your message. But from first partial glance are the paintings all the exact width of your panels or did you add them in Photoshop?
I'm in the process of resizing the shot. None of the pictures are added through Photoshop. They just have white backgrounds. I took some without the flowers also. That was a concern of mine also. Is it ok to have different styles of painting in the shot?
